LA GRAND'ROCHE - ROCK DISCOVERY TRAIL

Les Roches discovery trail created by the Haute Moselotte community of municipalities, the commune of Cornimont and the Club Vosgien. This trail is designed to teach visitors about the special site of Grand'Roche. There's also a magnificent viewpoint and an orientation table at Notre Dame de La Paix! Along the way, you'll find a number of explanatory markers for your perusal. Details of the route can be found in the topoguide to the 10 walks and hikes in Cornimont, published by the Club Vosgien de Cornimont and on sale at the Tourist Offices in Cornimont, La Bresse, Saulxures, Vagney and Ventron. This trail is difficult to negotiate in winter if there is snow. The route in detail: The walk starts opposite the Centre de Polyactivité, where you can park easily. Difficulty: the path climbs to an altitude of almost 800 metres! Approximately 3 kilometres, with a difference in altitude of 275 metres. The walk takes between 1 hour 15 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes: there are explanatory markers along the way, which explains why this ‘short’ trail takes so long. The signposting is very simple! All you have to do is follow a yellow ring along the entire route.
