CHURCH OF LA BRESSE
The Church of La Bresse was consecrated by the Bishop of Toul in 1758. It is made of sandstone: the Bressauds exchanged planks for sandstone stones from around Vagney. The church burned down in 1803. The granite side turrets date from the late 19th century. The stained glass windows, the work of Loire de Chartres, depict the great tragedies of Bresse. During the bombardments of the 39-45 war, only the church was spared.
