Snowshoeing/Champagne - BMHV
Special December 31st snowshoe walk.
As the mountains regain their calm, enjoy the hushed, silent and magical atmosphere. Night, snow and starry skies if Mother Nature agrees.
Walk for all ages, from 8 upwards.
Duration: approx. 2h00 on foot or on snowshoes, depending on snow conditions.
Special info: for all walks, bring good footwear (walking shoes, thin snow boots), warm, waterproof clothing, gloves and a hat.
Walking shoes can be hired if required (size 36 to 45), but please ask 24 hours before the outing.
Bring your own vehicle equipped with snow tires or chain to reach the start of the outing.
Snowshoes and poles provided free of charge for participants.
Glass of champagne offered during the outing.
Meeting point: 15 minutes before the start in front of the Auberge de la Balveurche - Rte du col de la Schlucht, D417, 88400 Xonrupt-Longemer (See Google Maps for car route if required).
